Larry was a son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and Captain in the Alabama National Guard. He served his country in the US Army and then to the National Guard for 18 years. He loved his country for his lifetime.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother; Louise S. Adams; his father, Limuel C. Adams; brother and sister, Jerry and Janis Adams; his niece and nephew, Lisa and Ronald Rudd; and his Son-in-law, David P. Wise, III.
He is survived by his children; daughters, Mandi Adams Lemley and her significant other, Chuck, Hilary Adams Wise and her husband, Stephen, Julie Miller and her husband, Clayton; son, Larry (Chance) Charles Adams, II and his significant other, Kailyn; granddaughters, Ashton Wise and her husband, Niklas, Bailey Wise, and Aria Adams; grandsons, Matthew Lemley, David P. Wise IV and his significant other, Shelby, Noah Wise, Jonah Wise, Kellson Miller, and Trace Miller; great granddaughter, Kaytee Craig; his brother, Michael Adams; his sisters, Gayle Rudd, and Donna Hampton; and a beloved aunt, and host of nieces and nephews and their children.
The funeral will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Sunset Memorial Park, 3802 Watermelon Rd. Northport, AL 35473, on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 1 o’clock.
