NORTHPORT | James Lenear Holliman, age 79, of Northport, died October 4, 2015, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Montgomery and Bro. Jimmy Holliman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mattie Lou Holliman.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Elmore Holliman; daughter, Sherron Turnipseed; son, Jimmy Holliman (Dianna); grandchildren, Rick Turnipseed (Christiane) and Misty Herron (Jeff).
Honorary pallbearers are Carolwood Freewill Baptist Church, friends of Candlewood, Dr. and Mrs. Stephene Brown, Jean Smith, Fay Avery and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Holliman.
