Services will be on Thursday November 30th at 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home with visitation from 10-11:00am at Sunset Funeral Home.
Jackie was born in Dillon County, SC on December 28th 1947. The son of the late Claudia Mae Davis Rogers and Harry McNeil Rogers. He is survived by his son James Thomas Strickland of Tuscaloosa, AL. Brothers Daniel Mack Rogers ( Sylvia) Latta, SC, Alton Rogers (Donna) Columbia, SC and sister Kathy Hyatt, Dillon, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie is preceded in death by his beloved wife Flora Jean Shelby Rogers and brothers Wade Rogers, James Rogers, Frankie Rogers and sisters Mary Sue Brazell, Bonnie Herring and Diane Rogers.
Jackie was a carpenter by trade and loved his work. While a quiet man, he was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
