She died at 96 years of age on October 26, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 58 years, Lawrence “Larry” Dunn, who died in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brother Juel M. Walker and sister Annette Crabb.
She is survived by her identical twin sister, Wardine W. Wilcox of San Antonio Texas; children Jeanne Campbell of Tuscaloosa, Nancy Hunt of Nashville TN, Larry “Bud” Dunn and wife Linda of Tuscaloosa and Bob Dunn and wife Beth of Tuscaloosa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was especially proud to have five 5-generations in her family. She is also survived by sister-in-law Bettye Dunn and brother-in-law James Crabb.
Jerri and Larry spent their lives in the flower business, running a wholesale florist, a retail flower shop, and a garden center. They retired from Dunn Nursery and Garden Center and spent many years traveling the U.S. and Canada in their RV, visiting every state in the U.S. and every province in Canada.
Jerri was very active at the University Church of Christ, volunteering at Harvest Hands Food Bank and rendering other services to the church. She especially enjoyed going on mission trips to the Bahamas with other church members. She was a 32-year breast cancer survivor and was very active in Camp Bluebird and other cancer support groups.
Jerri enjoyed many years participating in PARA activities, such as Breakfast and Bingo, Brunch and Bingo, and traveling on PARA outings.
Jerri and Larry were avid Alabama football and baseball fans, having season tickets for many years.
