Francine E Mills

Francine was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Nona Evans, her husband, Finnell Mills, and son, Eric Dean Mills, brothers Millard Evans and Frank Evans (Missy), sisters Doris Evans Norman and Sheila Evans Hendrix. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Mills Sprayberry (Byron) and son, William Kenneth Mills, and grandchildren: Leah Sprayberry Shaw, Heath Mills, Brett Sprayberry, Lauren Oswalt, Laura Mills, and Lindsay Mills Cornelson and many sweet great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1:00p.m. at Big Creek Cemetery in Coker, AL with Bro. Scott Green officiating.

Francine was a lifelong resident of Coker. She was a member of Coker Baptist Church where for many years she enjoyed making beautiful flower arrangements for her church's Sunday services. She was a tireless worker involved in the development of and fundraising for the Coker Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a member of the Coker Garden Club and was extremely involved in all of its activities. She had many friends in the community who loved and cherished her. She was an avid flower gardener who enjoyed spending time working in her yard. She loved decorating her home for every holiday and inviting friends and family over to celebrate. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker and it was her joy to help and serve others.

Pallbearers are Arnold Mills, Brett Sprayberry, Robby Shaw, Heath Mills, Samuel Cornelson, Cade Mills, Donovan Mills, and Jackson Sprayberry.
