NORTHPORT – Earnest B. Sanford, age 78, died December 17, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice V. Sanford; parents, Jeff and Annie Sanford; brothers, Early Sanford, Thomas Sanford, Junior Sanford; sisters, Lillie Oswalt, Mae Hallman, Modie Keith, Myrtle Lee Hallman and Pearlie Duren.Survivors include his daughters, Kay Hill (Randy), Brenda Tidmore (Roland), Donna Robertson (Donnie), Jennifer Ray (Randall); son, Jeff Sanford; sisters, Trannie Keith, Ethel Bigham, Florence Lashley (James), Florene Galese (John); brothers, James Sanford (Edith), Chester Sanford, Nathan Sanford (Kathy); grandchildren, Matt Tidmore (Kayleigh), Meagan Tidmore, Josh Robertson (Magen), Justin Robertson, Katelynn Tran (Danny), Austin Ray (Christin), Carson Sanford, Daniel Hill; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Rae Tidmore, Camden Tidmore and Rhett lee Robertson.Pallbearers will be Josh Robertson, Justin Robertson, Austin Ray, Danny Tran, Carson Sanford and Randall Ray.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Elizabeth Western and Hospice of West Alabama.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
