Bobbie W. Lesley

Bobbie was dearly loved by her husband of 54 years, John, and their three children, Johnny Lesley (Allison), Phillip Lesley (MaryAnn), and Tracy Wood (Alan). She was a loving MawMaw to her grandchildren, Julia Lesley, Robby Waldrop, Trent Lesley, Adam Lesley, Matthew Lesley, Abby Lesley, Ben Lesley, Emily Dennison and Christopher Webber. She was also loved dearly by her brother, Douglas Welcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marion Welcher and her sister, Nellie Hagler.

Services will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with service to be held at 11 a.m. Dr. Mark McCormick and Rev. Joe Lesley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sisters and the TCHS 1958 and 1960 classes, Dr. David Hinton and the special nurses and caregivers at the Manderson Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery Fund or Bethel Presbyterian Church.
