Billy Foster Presnall

NORTHPORT | Billy Foster Presnall, age 87 of Northport, Ala., passed away on March 29, 2014 at DCH. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Robertson and Rev. Roger Lucas officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Burial will follow services in Williamson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at the funeral home.

Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, Melton Presnall and Henry W. Presnall.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Presnall; daughters, Karla (Randall G.) Marshall and Kathy (Nathan) Sanford; his son, Marshall (Judy) Presnall; his grandchildren, Patrick, Patricia, Randall L., Brian, Brandi, Roger and Mark, Cherry and Shane; as well as 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.

Billy was a Veteran of WWII, a long standing member of Union Grove Baptist Church, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a love for God, family, and friends that was unlike most. He worked for Hutt Construction for 50+ years.

Pallbearers will be all of his grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Omer Baker, Dr. William Hill Jr., and staff, Dr. Ross Vaughn and staff, Dr. and Mrs. John Buckley, Louis and Peggy Leatherwood and the neighbors of Carter Drive.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors in Billy’s name.
