She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Ila Griffin; brother, Hoyt Griffin and sister, Marcell Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Dunn of Tuscaloosa, Ala. She also leaves behind extended family members consisting of sisters-in-law, cousins and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a trained hair stylist, working in Tuscaloosa until she moved to Washington DC to marry Bruce, where he was stationed in the military. After they returned back to Tuscaloosa, they joined the family in the flower business and eventually were owner/operators of Dunn Greenhouses for many years. She was a friend to many who needed her green thumb expertise and was loved by all her customers.
She was a devoted Christian who loved God. She was known as a compassionate, humble, loving, sweet soul that made an immeasurable impact on many in her life. Our lives have been blessed by having her in them and she will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Mike Moore, Terry Moore, David Dunn, JL Madison, Madison O'Quinn and Steve Campbell.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home with Blake Madison officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
