Beverly L. Clark

Born on February 11, 1936, to the late parents Lillian Earline Barksdale and James Durwood Penton.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Clark; her siblings: Dorthy Hayes, Josephine McDowell, Catherine Burroughs, and John (Dot) Penton; sons, Antony Clark, and Kenneth (Debbie) Christian.

She is survived by her sisters, Ernestine Kamil and Sheila (late Bob) Kelley; sons, Charles (Marilyn) Christian, Tom (Pam) McCall, and Johnny (Diane) Clark. She had nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Beverly was faithful to her church, New Beginning Family Worship Center, and a great prayer warrior for her church family.

Pallbearers are John Clark, Clay Clark, Dewayne Smalley, Eddie Kelley, Mike Ramsey, and Chuck White.

Honorary Pallbearers include Fayette Medical Center- Long Term Care Unit, New Beginnings Family Worship Center, Englewood Baptist Church, and Phifer Incorporated.

Services will be at 11 a.m Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home with Tom McCall officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
