Benjamin "Frank" Bigham

NORTHPORT – Benjamin "Frank" Bigham, age 92, of Northport, Ala., passed away October 26, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Bigham; son, Larry Bigham (Nina); brothers, Grady, Lewis and Sam Bigham; and sister, Gracie Garcia.

Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Bennett (Barry) of Northport; sons, Jack Bigham of Northport; Harold Bigham (Rita) of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. and Howell Bigham (Jackie) of Killen; sisters, Edna Rogers; Frances Sanford, Annie Smith and Tran Moore; brothers, Verner Bigham and Edward Bigham; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bigham was a member of Northport Church of Christ. He retired as a neon tube bender after more than 50 years. He served in the United States Army in WWII in the Philippines.

Pallbearers will be Cole Bigham, Jonathan Bigham, Aaron Bigham, Matt Channell, Brad Holland, Brian Bigham and Cliff Channell.

Honorary pallbearers are Adam Bigham, all sitters that helped Mr. Bigham over the years, especially LaDonna and Pat.
