Audrey, better known as “Aud” or MawMaw Hedrick to all who knew her was a kind and vivacious soul who did everything for others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her many kids. Audrey found joy in many things such as working in her yard, going to church, singing in the car, baking with her grandkids, and being a nurse. She worked at Bryce Hospital for 30 years as a LPN serving others and providing them with comfort. Like her husband Bert, she was a light placed on this earth by God to be an example of Jesus’ love he has for us. At the end of her journey Audrey was very sick and had lost the ability to do the things she loved. While our hearts may grieve now, we must all remember that God is the ultimate healer, and she is now restored to the healthy woman we all knew and loved. MawMaw Hedrick is now working in the heavenly gardens, singing with the angels, being a disciple of Christ and most importantly reunited with PawPaw Hedrick.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Harris, Brent Johnson, Bo Hannah, Justin Hedrick, Drew Hedrick, Harrison Thompson, Joshua Guthrie, and Lee Hannah. Special pallbearers Reed Harris, Jax Johnson and Bryant Johnson
Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, Harvest Church, Dr. John Summerford and Dr. James Geyer.
A special thanks to Bertie Rhone-Davis and Courtney Madison-Waller for their loving care of our dearest mom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
