Amy Elizabeth Fegaro

COTTONDALE - Amy Elizabeth Fegaro, age 31, of Cottondale, Ala., departed this life on June 20, 2017, at her home in Cottondale, Alabama. Amy was a loving and devoted mother, partner, daughter, sister and friend. She embraced and loved her life just as it was. Her joy and vibrancy will be missed deeply by her entire family and all who knew her. Her memory will live on especially through her fiancé, Patrick Fanning and her son, Lucas Maxwell Fanning. She also leaves to cherish hermemory her mother, Anita M. Fegaro; one brother, Timothy J. Fegaro; her grandfather, Odis P. McDuff; her aunts, Janice Gibbs and Carol Woodard; her uncle, Jeff McDuff; and cousins, Mark Gibbs, Justin Snider and Katie Snider along with a host of relatives and cherished friends. Amy was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Karr Fegaro and her grandmother, Peggy B. McDuff.Honorary pallbearers are the Fanning family, DCH NICU Department, DCH Pediatrics Department and Birmingham Children's Hospital CV-ICU Department. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Birmingham Children's Hospital CV-1CU Department. Amy's family and friends ask that you please wear colorful attire to celebrate Amy's life. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the evening. Her Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
