We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Tamara at the age of 97, on Thursday October 29, 2015. Beloved wife of Tad Jaworski for almost 60 years. Tamara was a world renowned tapestry artist with numerous prestigious awards including the Order of Canada and she was also a long time member of the RCA. She departed after a short illness at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Her long life was full of achievements and contribution to arts. Her artistic legacy can be found in numerous museums, esteemed galleries and private/corporate collections around the world. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 2 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles), Toronto. Family suggests to make donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation (sunnybrook.ca/foundation) in lieu of flowers.
