Jessie Carmella Vella

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in her 99th year at her new home, the Canterbury Place Retirement Residence. Jessie, dearly beloved wife of the late Angelo Vella. Loving mother of Loretto (Dubravko), John(Muriel), Paul (Anna) and Peter (Kim). Cherished grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Loving sister to Beatrice, Alice and Joan and the late Mary, Rosie, Adeline and Bill. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. A special expression of gratitude to all helpers and staff at Canterbury and once again heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ein and the entire staff at Yorkview Medical Centre. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding,south of Steeles). Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 11 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 75 Churchill Avenue, Toronto. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
