He leaves behind his beloved wife Vikki (nee Sieminowski), his 3 children; Paul (Miye), Mark (Donna), Alison (Colin) Caldwell and 2 step children David (Pam) Sieminowski and Tammy Sieminowski. Grandpa will be missed by his 6 grandchildren; Graeme, Jared, Owen, Beatrice, Malcolm and Brianna. David was a long-time equity partner/employee of Moore-McLean Insurance Brokers of Toronto. He was an avid football (soccer) supporter, and passionately followed his Aston Villa Football Club on a regular basis. David was also known for his musical prowess on the piano and in his retirement years played the piano as a volunteer twice a week, for the seniors at the Union Villa LTC facility in Unionville, Ontario.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and family members who supported us with such love and kindness throughout David's illness. We've lost a remarkable man who brought love, laughter and joy into our lives and we adored him. David received exemplary care from the dedicated staff at the Woodhaven Long Term Care facility in Markham, Ontario. A special word of thanks goes out to Linda Humphrey for the many hours of love and compassion she provided for David as his caregiver.
