During the war she met her loving husband Leonard Joseph Grant in Bournemouth, England in the year of 1941, who served in the Canadian Military in England.
They married in Potters Bar, Middlesex, England, then immigrated to Canada in 1946 on ship named Aquitania and among approximately 1,100 war brides, settling in Canada.
She is survived by her 8 loving children and their spouses (Robert Grant, Catherine & Don Wiseman, Fran & Ron Johnson, David & Barbara Grant, Peter & Sherry Grant, Mark & Victoria Grant, Laura Grant, Ted & Adriana Grant many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will all miss her.
Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard Joseph Grant and daughter-in-law Bonnie Grant; wife of Robert Grant .
Everyone loved her we will never forget her energy, quick wit, persistence and grace. She loved to bake, garden, walk the trails in North Vancouver and her favorite card game was Bridge. She also worked 14 years with North Shore Home Support, volunteered 16 years in Palliative Care Lions. Gate Hospital and 25 years with Red Cross Support in North Vancouver.
