It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald J. Kurucz, a longtime resident of North Vancouver, on September 21, 2024. Born on May 21, 1941, in Elk Point, Alberta, Ron was predeceased by his beloved wife, Moya Kurucz, and is survived by his loving mother, Helen Loranger; his cherished daughter, Kendra Edmonds (Rory Cullen); and his treasured grandchildren, Braxton, Logan, Tori, and Sean.
Ron dedicated much of his career to CIBC, where he built strong relationships and left a lasting legacy. A North Vancouver resident since 1985, Ron was passionate about tennis, a sport he greatly enjoyed throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Memorial Funeral & Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the BC Cancer Society in Ron's memory.
Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
