Born in Calgary, Alberta to parents Bob and Kay MacMillan on May 19, 1952. Passed away September 5, 2019 in Vancouver, BC.
Bart is survived by his brothers Jeff and Scott (Julia); nephews Matt and Aaron; and grandniece and nephew Calleigh and Ayden, as well as many colleagues and friends.
Bart was very recently recognized for 35 years of exemplary policing service - he was passionate about community involvement and service. He was well-respected in his role and was proud to have received the Roger Cyr Award for Rail Safety, as recognition for his important work.
In his community Bart took an active role in coordinating and supporting activities from darts to bowling. He was deeply committed to his community and was also passionate about bringing people together. He will be greatly missed by the many people he met through these activities.
