It is with great sadness we announce that Rob passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 54.
Rob was a sun worshipper and loved to travel. He was adored for his great sense of humour, antics and teasing. He was fortunate to have just come back from his annual November vacation in Maui which was his happy place. He loved watching and chatting about sports. He enjoyed talking about stocks and investing. Rob was a very caring person and his main purpose in life was to provide for his family. He was a kind and thoughtful person and was often referred to as a “Gentle Giant” or “Teddy Bear”.
Rob is survived by his wife Shelley, daughter Megan, dog Rocky, his mother Rose, sister Cindy (Tom), niece Kaitlyn and nephew Evan. He will be dearly missed by his other nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his dad Robert. We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lions Gate ICU for their compassion and care.
There will be a cremation and no public service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends and family may choose to remember Rob by donating to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).
A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
