North Vancouver, British Columbia. She was 87. She was born on January 11, 1933 in Hong Kong, moved
to London, England in her thirties to be with her daughter Susan Lin. In her forties she moved to
Toronto, Ontario to be with her parents and, after she retired, moved to North Vancouver, British
Columbia to be closer to her brother, Peter Wong and his family.
Ping is survived by her daughter Susan Lin, son-in-law Eric Lin, grandchildren Steven and Jeffrey,
granddaughter-in-law Emmy, great granddaughter Sophie.
Ping found so much joy in treating her family and many good friends to a great meal at her favorite
restaurants. And her pass time included watching tennis, doing shopping, listening to classical music,
and reading.
Special thanks to Linda Lin, a volunteer and a very good friend, with helping with her financial and
personal matters, Dora Lam in assisting her with many day-to-day activities, and of course, the entire
staff at Berkley Care Center for their care and support.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.firstmemorialnorthvancouver.com for the Wong family.
