Patricia will be remembered by many for her fun loving and very generous nature. She was a very accomplished Pianist, Singer and actress well known in the musical theater world in Vancouver and beyond as well as many roles in the local film and television industry. The pinnacle of her career was producing the Musical “Peter Pan” which starred Long John Baldry and Kathy Rigby as Captain Hook and Peter Pan respectively. She spent countless hours coaching and nurturing young people through her business the Singin’ actin’ and dancin’ studio for many years. She also was a secretary employed by U.B.C. for 30 years and known for her 120 words a minute typing skills! She typed one of David Suzuki’s first manuscripts in her spare time and earned enough to take her family on their most memorable Vacation to Hawaii and Disneyland in 1976.
Pat was very happily married to Keith Waldron from 1957 to 2000 when he passed on. They spent many happy times among their close friends and family vacationing at her sister and brother in laws cabin at McGillvary falls on Anderson lake or on camping trips through the Okanagan. Many fun hours were spent playing games of badminton in their big beautiful backyard and entertaining in their home in Kerrisdale.
Pat is survived by her 2 children, son Alan (60) and daughter Lesley (56).
