Joyce Patricia Mary Wheeler July 13th, 1947 - Aug. 12th, 2023
George Wheeler passed away Oct.7th, 2022 surrounded by his family. Within 10 months of losing her
husband of 55 years Joyce Wheeler joined him on Aug.12th, 2023.
George and Joyce were both raised in Vancouver, B.C. They met in 1966 and that is where their love
story began. After dating for 3 weeks George proposed and on May 25th, 1967 they were married.
Mom and Dad resided in Vancouver where they raised their two children. In 1992 they relocated to
Prince George B.C. which they called home for 30 years until their passing.
George and Joyce were loving parents to daughter Tammy (Trevor) Thompson and son Walter (Shelly)
Wheeler. They were the proud grandparents of two grandsons Sheldon Wheeler (Autumn) and Braeden
Wheeler (Tia). They were also survived by George’s sister Margaret Eby, sister in law Lynne Wheeler
and numerous nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by parents Bernard & Jean Wheeler and Mary & George Moss. George was also
predeceased by his younger brother Bob Wheeler. Joyce was also predeceased by her two sisters and
three brothers Kathleen Basey, Margaret Smith, David Moss, Gordon Moss, and George Moss.
As per George and Joyce's wishes, there will be no service
