Deepest Condolences to all the Family.  I was happy I could attend her Celebration of Life today.  I really could feel all the love and her spirit. I didn’t spend a lot of time with her, nor did I know her as well as everyone else, but from the few times I was fortunate to be in her company, it was always delightful. Jean and Joe visited me in the hospital a few times in 2005 and always tried to cheer me up with jokes, but most of all the music they sang for me and my family.  At the time of my injury it was great to have such a cheerful soul around. I loved hearing some of  the adventures you went on Jean and the struggles you had to go through. I rolled away today  thinking life does have a lot to offer and why not take a chance at opportunities, to always be positive, but most of all the importance of family. Thank you Jean for your enduring example of how to live life to its fullest. Rest in Love. 

My condolences to the family,  Jean you will be deeply missed by your friends at TOPS  BC1142 Burnaby.  Loved when you shared your photos and memories of your Granddaughters. They always brought such joy to you. Now you are in a restful  place.   No longer in pain.

Sorry for the loss of Jean, her warm and infectious smile preceded her loving embrace of  humanity, she is missed and gone too soon! Jean will be remembered and her presence will be felt as her love and spirit are enormous! I met Sidney in grade 1 when we were little girls.  She was my best friend for a long time in my childhood.  Jean and my mother  Sandy became lifetime friends through Sidney and I becoming friends all those years ago. I loved Jean very much as the many years of my childhood included alot of time and experiences with her and Sidney my mom  and my sister as well as Sidneys late Baba. 
I have so many fond and loving memories of Jean that I will treasure my whole life. 
Jean and Sidney were also the ones who hosted and went to a great deal of effort for my first born child baby shower back in 1998. 
I will miss her very much and hold her memories close to my heart for as long as  I live. 
My own mother passed last May just 3 days difference than Jean. And her celebration of life was at the same place.  Knowing this is a comfort as in life Jean and my mom shared so much as friends, and in death they are able to still be close and personally, I can visit both of them together when I come to remember them at their final resting place. 
All of my love and condolences to Sidney, Joe and all the rest of Jeans extended family and friends  who I'm sure like myself, loved Jean a great deal and have alot of memories of how this Special lady touched their lives.  
Rest in peace sweet Jean.

I worked with Jean at BC BIO laboratories, both of us being lab techs.  She was always a great workmate.  Our paths crossed again when my husband died and I joined the Burnaby hospice walking group.  Then I got to visit Jean after I moved to Toronto and she visited her family in Toronto.  Always enjoyed our visits and chats.  Condolences to Joe and Sidney and family.  Baba will be missed!  Rest In Peace my friend
