James (Jim) Wilson Thompson (Born in North Vancouver 1946 - 2023)**
Jim, beloved husband of Carol Thompson, departed from this world on November 21st, 2023. He is survived by his devoted wife Carol Thompson, cherished daughters Tamara Whitman (Kasey) and Alexis Muir (Grant), as well as his adoring grandchildren: Colton, Brooklyn, Scotia, and Presley.
Jim will be fondly remembered for his infectious laughter and constant smile that could brighten anyone's day. He was known for his warm-hearted nature and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Among the many cherished memories he leaves behind, one that stood out was a recent trip to Maui with his family, a testament to the joy and love he shared with his loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Royal Columbian Hospital in honour of the exceptional care Jim received during his time there, or to the BCSPCA to support Jim’s love for animals.
While Jim's physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit and the wonderful memories he created will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
