Glenn W. Melling passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2024.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents George (Pat) and Wilma Melling, and brother Garry Melling.
Lovingly survived by his wife of 58 years, Gayle Melling, son Steven Melling (Kathy), of North Vancouver, daughter Deborah St Laurent (Paul), of Brampton, Ontario, brother David Melling, of Brampton, Ontario, and five grandchildren, Jennifer Chipman, Glenn Chipman, Dusty Melling, Ethan Melling, and Benjamin (Benji) Melling, and two great grandchildren, Nova Royko, and Mason Macneil.
Glenn was a proud member of Grand Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of British Columbia & Yukon, as well as Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Canada. He was also a proud member of Lodge of Fidelity No. 231 A.F. & A.M. in Ottawa, Ontario.
We would like to thank Vancouver Coastal Health for the caring support and compassion given to Glenn by the doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit, as well as the Home Support Workers.
The memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at First Memorial Funeral Service – Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, British Columbia.
