How does one say goodbye to a loving mother and best friend ? Elizabeth was a quiet, selfless beautiful and caring soul. As a former care giver our mother had such a gentle way with those who had Alzheimer's disease or those needing a good listener or a friend. A former resident of the Lions Manor in Deep Cove for over 23 years.
Our mother was a true nature lover who enjoyed watching birds, sunrises, and sunsets over the water and mountains,
Moon river sung by Audrey Hepburn was a favorite as was music by Oscar Petersen and the old jazz greats.
Weeping willow trees and watching the dog walkers brought our mother joy and laughter.
Elizabeth leaves behind a daughter Ashley, son David, daughter in law Diane, grandchildren Eric, Jenny, Tucker and great grandchild Cleo and their partners.
Mom you living for over 91 years trying to protect your loving daughter from Multiple Sclerosis and loving your son David who you were so proud of from afar will always be remembered.
Many thanks to the kind staff at Inglewood Long Term Care in West Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations go to the Salvation Army War Amps or the Multiple Sclerosis Society in her memory.
FOREVER AND ALWAYS, WE SHALL LOVE YOU MOM !
