Liz was born in England in 1947. She studied music and ballet from an early age, and subsequently at the London (UK) School of Dance and Drama. Emigrating to Canada in 1968, she lived in Montreal and the Eastern Townships in Quebec. She became a story editor for CBC Montreal. She wrote and presented on air her original material for a series on CBC Radio, and also gave piano lessons.
She married Allan Clogg in 1975. They soon moved to Vancouver, where she applied her considerable creative talents to a photographic business shared with her husband. She was later employed for several years as a legal secretary, before fulfilling a lifelong ambition by obtaining a degree in History at Simon Fraser University.
Liz was pre-deceased in 1984 by her husband, with whom she shared a love of the outdoors. At all times she maintained her interest in music and the arts, and had friends and acquaintances in many parts of the globe.
