Blake De Ath

Blake De Ath, age 84, of North Vancouver, passed away on May 31, 2023, after a brief illness.

Blake was born on May 28, 1939, to Harley and Janice (nee Peters) De Ath in Princeton, BC.

Blake always enjoyed his family, his many friends, spending time at the cabin on Allison Lake, golfing, playing cards, dinner and drinks, watching the Canucks, always teasing or joking around as only he could.

Blake was predeceased by his parents, Harley and Janice, his brother Keary De Ath (Trish) and dogs Spanky and Mac.

He is survived by wife Dale (nee Lynde), son Jace (Rosie ), step grandson Sohil, brother Dale (Patricia), sister Sharie (Pat), adoring nieces Julie (Lubin), Jayne ,Jill ( Sandy), and nephew Aaron. Blake was Great Uncle to Shaun (Fiona), Vanessa (Mike), Spencer, Trevor, Brittany and Chanel (Mike) and Great Great niece Scottie. Very special mention to his Headwater Family and the gang at Tim Hortons. Blake was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2 p..m. at Boal Chapel 1505 Lilloet Rd , North Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the SPCA or Canadian Cancer Society.
