Miller, Audrey Maxine (nee Falkenberg) February 14, 1929 - October 23, 2021. It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Audrey Miller, on October 23, 2021, at the age of 92 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, in 1992. She is survived by her children, Brad (Kae), Jason (Laura), Brian (Margie), grandchild Jonathan, her sister Leona, as well as many nieces and nephews. Audrey was born in Meniak, Alberta, to Hannah and Dan Falkenberg. Audrey was active in curling and basketball and went on to become a nurse. After Cecil started his career as an Airline Pilot, they moved to Richmond and Tsawwassen to start a family. As the boys got older, the family moved to North Vancouver. Cecil and Audrey spent many holidays traveling the world, skiing in the winter, sailing in the summer and eventually becoming snowbirds in Arizona. After Cecil passed away in 1992, Audrey continued to travel and enjoyed herself with friends and family in Cobble Hill. Her final 8 years were spent living an active and vibrant life in North Vancouver. In her lifetime, she had made lasting friends in Alberta, Richmond, Tsawwassen, North Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Arizona. Audrey always saw the good in everyone, had generous time for her friends, and gave sound, worldly advice. She leaves family and friends with lasting fond memories.
A celebration of life will be held on April 9, 2022, 2PM at the First Memorial Boal Chapel in North Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Red Cross Society or the United Church.
