Eulogy for Ana Maria Teresa Canjura

Today we celebrate the remarkable life and enduring memory of Ana Maria Teresa Villalobos de Canjura, who, for 82 beautiful years, touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Whether you called her Ana Maria, Maria Teresa, or Teresita, you are here because she shared her love, sincerity, faith, laughter and unwavering loyalty with each person she considered a friend or family member.

Ana Maria is deeply cherished by her three sons, Jose Luis, Lisandro, and Alex, as well as her beloved husband of 52 years, Luis Adalberto Canjura. Together, they embarked on a journey from their native El Salvador to build a new life in Canada. Through challenges and triumphs, Ana Maria always reminded us of the importance of family and encouraged us to lean on God for guidance, comfort, and resilience.

As we reflect on her life, let us remember the warmth she brought into our lives and the countless ways she inspired us to be better. Ana Maria now basks in the glory of God’s presence, reunited with her father, mother, brothers, and all those who have gone before her.
