Tom Melillo was born in Danbury, CT on September 7, 1948, and passed away in West Palm Beach, FL on February 18, 2020. He graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury, and continued to receive a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America, New Haven, CT.
On March 11, 1989, Tom married Susan Mary Wagner, and they celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Tom was an entrepreneur – he was involved in the real estate profession and restaurant/catering business throughout his diverse career.
He was actively involved in the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens, the Knights of Columbus PBC Council 6988, Orders of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem Southeastern Lieutenancy.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Susan Wagner Melillo; his sister Mary Ellen (Ken) Sherwood; his brother John (Sue) Melillo and loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mildred Melillo.
There will be a visitation in the chapel of the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 10 am; with Mass of the Resurrection following at 11 am in the church.
