Susan W. Melillo

Susan was born in Chicago, Illinois November 3,1956 to John (deceased 2005), and Mary Wagner. Susan passed peacefully at 67 in her sleep in West Palm Beach Florida, May 12,2024, fittingly, the same day we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, whom Susan loved.

Susan attended grade school in Amarillo Texas, and graduated from Jones Commercial High School, Chicago in 1974. She then graduated from The Chicago College of Commerce in 1976 with her B.S. and began her career in Business and Law.

After realizing her dream of moving to Florida, she was fortunate to meet her soulmate, best friend and business partner Tom Melillo, and they were married March 11,1989. who preceded her in death February 18, 2020.

Susan is the middle girl in a family of five. John (deceased) and Marsha (deceased), Glenn and Barb, (Chris, Paul, Jane, Jill.) David and Terrie, (Olivia), Eric and Hillary,(Vincent and Nome). Her family also numbered 13 uncles and 2 aunts, 52 first cousins and well over a hundred-second cousins.

Susan and Tom were very active in the community of The Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola for over twenty-five years. The Parishioners were truly their family.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 20th. 10:00 viewing followed by Mass at 11:00.
