Sharon Casey Davis, age 83, passed away on May 24, 2024, from complications of pneumonia. Born in Arcade, NY, Sharon lived a full and vibrant life marked by her deep love for family, dedication to her work, and active involvement in her community.
Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Gerry Davis, and they enjoyed nearly 56 years of unwavering devotion to each other. Together, they built a life rich with shared memories and mutual support.
Sharon’s career was as dynamic as she was. She served as a flight attendant for Pan American Airlines, a role that allowed her to see the world and meet countless people. Later, she brought her keen sense of style and organizational skills to her work as a lighting store manager and, finally, at the Village Bootery in Tequesta, FL.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Sharon was a dedicated member of numerous organizations. She contributed to the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Chapter of Pan Am World Wings, led as President of the Forsyth County Republican Women, and proudly upheld the legacy of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Sharon had a love for reading, crossword puzzles, and Bridge. In her earlier years, she gained her Private Pilot’s license and was quite an accomplished tennis player . These interests highlighted her creative mind and competitive spirit, traits she carried throughout her life.
She is survived by her children: Trent Davis, Martine Davis, and Patrick Davis. Sharon’s legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Sharon will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
