Dear Shannon, I miss you more and more every day I love you and think of you daily I cry over you I wish god kept you alive still it hurts that you left this world.  This young you meant actually something to my whole entire family you were like a  second mom to me. My mom and I think of you every day! We miss you and love you lots shan !!

We are grieving right along with you for the loss of your wife Shannon. We know how much Shannon meant to you and that you would give her the world.  She was beautiful, kind and a great mother. She created a beautiful home for her family and put her heart and soul in all the details that made her personality shine. Shannon will always hold a special place in many hearts that she touched. I will miss all the greetings we sent to each other and admiring her sense of style. 
Remember a lot of people want to help you get through this difficult time and we are right here for you anytime you need a shoulder to lean on.

This is unreal, we cannot believe Shannon passed……Our hearts are so sad, we loved Shannon like family. We spent hours together in middle school, she was both my girls, Claudia and Prissy’s inspiration , they both loved her so much ….her heart was always full of joy, her beautiful smile was radiant and whenever she walk in a room There was a Beautiful Glow Always….. Shannon, you taught us so much and you taught my girls so much dignity and inspired so much love,

I taught with Shannon for a few years at Trinity.  She was always so sweet and a ray of sunshine.  Praying for the family.

So saddened  to hear of Shannon's passing.  She was the sweetest girl with such an infectious smile that would light up every room the moment she walked in.  Our deepest sympathy to the Penners, Kelley and the children.  “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Shannon was the kind of person when you think of her in your mind, you think of her smiling or laughing.  She was a person that brought light and energy in a room wherever she went. She was Chad's best friend and their love for each other was transparently real to all around them. This world has lost such a beautiful wonderful person and my heart breaks for everyone that ever knew her.

We are so sorry for your loss of Shannon.  I can remember her cheering, flip flopping, and not just at school!  While traveling to Florida with us she got out of the car to flip flop across the lawn at a  rest center!  That was a big surprise along with all of her other accomplishments in her life.  She was loving , kind with the biggest heart and smile. Not to leave out she was as smart as a whip!  We will keep you and your family in our hearts , prayers and look forward in seeing Shannon in Heaven.

I met Shannon on the first day of school 2003 when I dropped my daughter off in her 3rd grade St Marks classroom.  She loved her students, and my fondest memory is when she heard the girls in her class talking about a Hilary Duff concert and she said she wanted to go. So she came along with us moms and our daughters and had an amazing time.   That was her pure spirit.  A few years later, we connected on Facebook and we watched each other’s families grow. I’m so sorry she left this earth so early and I am praying for her family to find peace and healing. ❤️

What a beautiful amazing lady. She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her---my heart is so sad for your loss. Her family was her world and she loved all of you  very much. I will certainly miss her sparkle. I wish peace and comfort for all of you  Helen

My daughters and I met Shannon at the gym. Throughout our grueling workouts Shannon was a source of inspiration. Her movie star beauty and kindness was apparent to all. We pray for peace for the family and will dearly hold her memory in hearts.

Oh Shannon, you will be missed! Your Arkansas family loved you so so so much and I will miss talking about everyone with you at family functions. We had special times in Ft. Worth and you took care of me like I was your little sis. I still have the cross you made me hanging in my room and I love that you made it for TJ and I. You were a fiercely loving mother and I hope your children will remember you as loving them with all of your heart. I’m so thankful I got to visit with you in person last summer, even amongst a pandemic, and my girls loved spending time with Julia. 
We will be praying for peace as everyone grieves your absence, but will know you are resting in no pain. 

I am so sorry for your loss. Shannon was beautiful, smart and incredibly sweet natured. The Fowler family loved her. She gave the gift of friendship to all three of my daughters and they nurtured it. Knowing Shannon goes back to 1984 when I walked Davelyn into Mrs. Moore’s fourth grade class at Anderson Elementary. Shannon turned around and generously gave that wonderful smile and I whispered to my daughter, “go sit by that cute blonde headed girl” and she did.  Shannon and her mother, Sara, became our friends. Sara, Chad, Jack, Julia and Barrett you are all truly in our prayers in the days ahead. May God wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you.

I have so many wonderful memories of Shannon & our daughter  Kelly having fun together ~ meeting in the sixth grade at Anderson Elementary School, the trips to Florida, the Lufkin Panther games, the visits when Shannon would come to Texas. Shannon's smile was  as bright & happy as blue skies & sunshine. May her family & friends find comfort in beautiful memories of their time together &  may her hope & optimism live on through her children.

My thoughts and  prayers are with you in this most  difficult time. She was  a beautiful precious  young lady too young to leave this earth ,, but heaven gained  a precious Angel.
