Robert William Carl Dodson left this earth for his eternal home with God on March 26, 2016 with his family by his side in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. Robert was born on December 17th 1942 in Ravenna, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was the beloved husband of Martha Dodson for 53 years. He will be forever remembered by his children Bob Dodson Jr. (Beth), Shelly Tynan (Phil), Janie Haines (Brad), David Dodson, Tara Dodson, Vanessa Dodson, as well as his six grandchildren, Steven, Alexis, Tyler, Kyle, Clay, Brady, his brothers, John Dodson, Duke Dodson, Larry Dodson and one sister Madge Dodson. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Emily Dodson and his sister Edith Dodson. He was a member of Cross Community Church in Palm Beach Gardens since 1978. Memorial services will be held there on Wednesday March 30th at 4:00 p.m. Robert loved his family and dedicated his life to being the best husband and father he could be, with the help of God. He will be loved and missed very much by all that knew him.
