Paul W. Potter III

“Paul Strong”

Paul passed away on March 30th, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife and children. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul W. Potter Jr and Lenore D. Potter, along with his brother Jeffery Schmidt.

Paul is survived by his wife of 33 years Pamela L. Potter, three daughters: Tiffany N. Potter, Jennifer L. Potter, Kerry E. Rodriguez (Robert), his son Paul “Rocky” Brown, and his beloved seven grandchildren.

Paul is also survived by three of his siblings: James “Jim” Schmidt (Katie) of Georgia, Paula L. Johnson (Billy) of Royal Palm, and Douglas Potter (Cindy) of Okeechobee. Paul will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Paul was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and grew up on the beaches of Singer Island. He was an avid fisherman and diver who instilled his love of the ocean in many.

Paul graduated with the class of 1978 from Suncoast High School. After high school he served four years in the United States Navy.

Paul was a dedicated employee of Pratt & Whitney for 35 years where he gained many friends. Paul took pride in his position as a Senior Technician.

Paul valued education and encouraged many people, young and old, to set goals and achieve them. Everyone admired his determination to continue his education throughout the years.

Paul had great love for his family and friends. The date for a celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
