Patricia Trent Salerno, a beloved sister, aunt, and partner, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024. She was born on February 4, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida.
After graduating from Palm Beach High School, Patricia began her real estate career in her late 20s. She became extremely successful as a Real Estate Broker specializing in luxury homes. Highly professional and detail-oriented, Patricia was well respected by her peers. Her honesty and work ethic made her top in her field, and she was known for her commitment to excellence.
Loving the mountain region of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Patricia purchased and developed land for a multi-residential community, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for development.
Patricia had a deep love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and birds. She also had a passion for travel, making many trips to the islands and Mexico.
A sweet and loving sister, Patricia mentored her niece, Deborah Smith, in her real estate career. She was predeceased by her parents, Thelma and Jess Trent, and her brother, Phillip Trent. She is survived by her sisters, Karen Smith, Kathy Rosenblum, and Annette Southern; nieces and nephews, Anthony and Cassie Stauffer, Deborah and Derek Smith, Eric and Ashley Trent, Vanessa Inglese, and Danielle Pond; and her longtime partner, Rud Istvan.
A church service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1 PM at St. Ignatius Chapel, located behind the main church at St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
