Patricia Colabella

Arrangements uPatricia “Patti” Colabella age 58 passed away at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with breast cancer on March 5, 2012. She was born November 20, 1953 in Orange, NJ to David and Jean McAvoy. Patti enjoyed gardening, shopping, family, vacations, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and living life to the fullest. She was predeceased by her brothers David and Kevin and her mother, Jean. Her survivors include her husband of 39 years, Joseph, of Palm Beach Shores, FL and Brielle, NJ, her children Kelli Brooks and Husband James of Point Pleasant, NJ, Kimberly Colabella and fiance’ Christopher Gough of Brick, NJ, Grandchildren, Isabella and James Brooks, parents David McAvoy and wife Carol, siblings, S. Joyce Moreau, Jerry and Dennis McAvoy and Denise Watson, many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws, and numerous extended family members all who loved her. Patti was loved by so many friends who were also a big part of her life. A memorial service will be held Wednesday March 7, 2012 at 4:30 PM at Howard-Price Funeral Home 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida. There will also be a service in NJ at a later date.
