Age 86, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2013, under the care of Palm Beach Gardens Hospice. Neil was born of June 24, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by Nell, his loving wife of sixty three years; daughter, Carol Baker(Russell); sons, Dr. Thomas Kline and partner Dr. David Gitomer, Harold Klein(Karen), Ronald L. Klein(Linda); granddaughters, Meredith Best(Dan), Lindsey Maher(Brian), Allison Winchester(Walker); great grandchildren, Collin and Julia Best.
Neil served his country in the Army Air Force for two years. At the end of World War II, he was stationed on a Crash Boat in the Caribbean.
He worked for the Chase Construction Company for thirty two years. He was able to retire at the young age of fifty seven and move to his beloved Florida in 1983. He worked part-time at Sears, in sales and tool repair.
Neil volunteered as a shuttle bus driver at the VA Hospital and a driver to the Hanley Center. Neil’s willingness to help neighbors and friends will forever be remembered.
Friends may visit the family at the Howard-Price Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy.1, North Palm Beach, on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 717 Prosperity Farms Rd., North Palm Beach, on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County or First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach.
