“Eddie D”
Ed, 67 years old of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Son of Michael and Eleanor (Vivier) D’Ambra. Beloved husband of Joy (Figliolini) D’Ambra. Loving father of Kevin J. (Jennifer) and Jeffrey E. Grandchildren EJ, Peyton, Taylor, Olivia, and Craig. Brother of Michael and Evelyn D’Ambra.
Resident of North Palm Beach, FL for the last 18 years. Former owner of Eddie D’s Restaurant and proprietor of North Palm Beach Country Club Restaurant. An avid golfer and Big East basketball enthusiast. He was involved in local charities, especially Toys for Tots.
Eddie D’ enjoyed life because he loved people.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at St. Clare Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
