Dolores Watkins

After a long illness, Dolores, 81, stepped out of our presence in this life and entered Heaven on December 23, 2015. She was born and raised in Miami, FL. Her loving parents were Aurelius and Wylynne Martin-Vegue. She married her high school sweetheart Charles and they moved to the Palm Beach area in 1956. They have resided in North Palm Beach for many years. She was with the Cohen, Norris Law Firm in North Palm Beach and left work in 2004. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She was loved by many. Dolores will always be remembered for the love and devotion she had for her family, her friends, and her faith in God. Dolores is survived by her loving husband Charles N. Watkins; her three children: son Charles E. (Carrie) Watkins, daughter Brenda (Frank) Gruber, daughter Criste (George) Carter. She cherished her five grandchildren, Emily Watkins, Brittany and Chelsea Gruber, Jeremy and Ashley Carter. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother Howard (Aubrey) Martin-Vegue of Port Saint Lucie. Friends are invited to join the family in visitation and viewing from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Saturday, December 26th at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home Chapel located at 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach. Funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach at 2:30PM, Sunday, December 27th. Following the service, burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park located at 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County or to the Alzheimer's Association.
