Betty Jean Garvey

Betty is survived by her loving children Mark (Helen) Garvey, Greg (Kathleen) Garvey, and Karen (Jack) Dodd, thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Barry Garvey.

Betty was born and grew up in Mississippi. In the midst of raising a family, she built a prosperous door to door bible sales business. Betty went on to become a very successful realtor for over 30 years and received a number of industry awards. Her public relations skills grew from working at her mother's general store at a young age. Betty loved to cook, garden, travel and spend time with her children and many grandchildren. Betty was always a loving and giving person for her family and friends. She was well supported in the last years of her life by her family, friends and caregivers.

The family will have a celebration of Betty's life on what would have been her 90th birthday (May 30th). Look to the sky this night, for her spirit will be above us.
