Virginia Bea McDowell, 73 years old of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Born in Danville, KY raised in Covington, KY she has been a resident of Palm Beach Gardens since 1973. She was a wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her husband and her family. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Martha Robinson, brother Jack Robinson and her son Robert McDowell.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Layton McDowell; Children, Robin (Steven) Cain, Jeff (Dara) McDowell, Ginny and Sandi, eleven grandchildren, sisters, Nancy (Doc) Henry and Carol (Dale) Voelker and her precious companion Molly.
The family will receive friends at Howard-Price Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 11:00am till 1:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
