Solange Miot

Solange Miot departed from this earth on Tuesday September 10, 2013, at the age of 71. She left behind her, a life filled with selfless acts, hard work, dedication to those she loved, as well as great humor and joy.

Her love of cooking and culinary skills was only surpassed by her warmth and generosity of spirit. These attributes were greatly appreciated by the many family members, extended family members, countless friends, associates and strangers, for whom she would always provide a meal, kind word and listening ear.

Over the past five years, she was a resident at the Villa Maria Nursing Home, where she lived under the thoughtful care of a loving nursing staff. Solange joins her father, Andre Miot, and mother, Anita Valcin Miot as well as her sister Rolande Miot Phanord in the afterlife.

Solange was beloved by her three children, Tamara Michel Josserand, Duane Andre Pack and Tanya Elaine Pack. She is also survived by her sister Raymonde Miot, her grandchildren Jalen Pack, Joshua Pack as well as her stepchildren and grandchildren, Monia Temo, Paul-Helene Temo, Stephan Temo, Lance-Gabriel Temo, Brent Josserand and Zac Josserand. Solange is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Nadege Phanord Vento, Jeffery Phanord and Christopher Miot.

A funeral mass will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday September 20th at 1:00 pm. 14500 NE 11th Ave, North Miami, Fl 33161. The burial will follow at the Southern Memorial Funeral Home, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181. Flowers may be sent to Southern Memorial Funeral Home.
