Sara came from Cuba in 1954 looking for her dream, like many others, to improve the lives of her husband Pepe and daughter Martha and son Joe.
Originally schedule to go to New York instead she landed, by plane, in Miami Beach. She first came with her sister Hilda and immediately both found employment at the famous Lilly Rubin clothing store on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.
After Lilly Rubin she owned ladies clothing stores all in Miami Beach. After, she went to work at Saks 5th. Ave in BAL Harbor, where she retired from.
After losing her husband of many years Sara never remarried instead devoted her life to her family and many friends.
She will be missed more than these words can say by her many friends and extended family now including two granddaughters and great-granddaughter and grand-son.
