Santa Ibis Perez de la Torre

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Santa Ibis Perez de la Torre, who left us peacefully on September 27, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on April 3, 1953, in Havana, Cuba, Santa was a talented musician and a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of experiencing her artistry.

Santa was the daughter of Israel Perez Martines and Jaidy de la Torre Valdes. She graduated high school and pursued her passion for music, enchanting audiences with her vibrant performances and heartfelt lyrics. Throughout her career, Santa shared her Cuban heritage through her art, bringing joy and connection to many.

Santa is remembered not only for her musical contributions but also for her warm spirit and unwavering kindness. She touched the lives of countless friends and family members, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

She is survived by her loving family and an extensive network of friends and colleagues who admired her talent and cherished her friendship.

A celebration of Santa's life will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181, followed by a committal service from 2:30 PM, where all are invited to share their memories and honor her legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local music education program, a cause close to Santa’s heart.

A visitation for Santa will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181, followed by a committal service from 2:30 PM
