Boza, Ramon A. was born 09/28/31 and died 12/24/13 after a brief illness. He was married to the love of his life, Raquel Campano, who predeceased him. Together for over 50 years, they raised 5 children, Teresita (Raul), Javier, Lourdes, Maria Elena, and Raquel (Tony) and had 11 grandchildren, Carlos, Sara, Ashley, Jonathan, Jennifer (Luis), Max, Nicolas, Daniel, Claudia, Hunter and Emma and 2 great-grandchildren, Luis Anthony and Ella Sofia. Dr. Boza is also survived by his only brother, Alfredo, as well as many family members who relied on him for his love and wise counsel. He was a proud member of the Agrupacion Catolica Universitaria since 1953. Dr. Boza was well known for his charitable works, and served as a medical missionary in Latin American and the Caribbean with the Archdiocese of Miami through the Piarist Father's Latin Missions and Amor en Accion
Dr. Boza graduated as a physician from the University of Havana, and later came to the United States where he trained at the Milledgeville State Psychiatric Hospital, the Seton Psychiatric Institute, Spring Grove State Hospital, and was for many years a professor, psychiatrist, mentor and friend at the Miami Veteran's Administration Hospital before retiring in 2008. He touched the lives of countless veterans. He was well known and widely published. Most importantly, he was beloved of all who knew him for his wisdom, kindness and compassion. His family is bereft at the sudden and unexpected loss. No words can describe his generosity, his humanity, his charity and his wisdom. We will miss you forever papi, but are comforted by the thought that you are with mami again enjoying God's heavenly glory together until we are all reunited as a family. Esto vir !
