Butler (from Center, KY) in 1940, after meeting and living in Miami, Florida, where they settled and raised a family. She loved her status as a stay at home mom, cooking wonderful meals and keeping house with her many talents in sewing and decorating with her crafts. After she raised her family, her interests turned to China painting where she devoted many years perfecting her skills and became quite prolific in this art form. She was humble and did not know just how good she had become. She was always coiffed and took pride in wearing stylish clothes she made. She loved to travel and was always ready to go. Her family and friends will remember her shy manner and her many gifts and talents. She is survived by her oldest son James Mitchel Butler Jr., (Linda) and their sons, Robert and Scott Butler. She is also survived by her youngest son, William Howard Butler (Adela) and son, William Joseph Butler. A surviving sister, Beatrice and her daughter Jeannie, live in West Virginia. Nieces, Brenda, Sue, and nephew, Larry and their respective families live in Pleasant View, Kentucky, They are the family of Junior Lambdin, Mary Opal's younger brother who predeceased her. Survivors of her older brother, Jerry Lambdin, who also predeceased her, are nieces Sharon and (Ruth deceased) nephews Jerrold and (James deceased). Mary Opal will be greatly missed by many other distant relatives and friends.
