Louise Colvert, 63, of Miami, FL, passed away on April 19th, 2020 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Limbe, Haiti on November 4th, 1956, daughter of the late Lorticia Deronvil and Saint Parvint Bessard. She is survived by her former spouse, Doucet Willis Colvert, and her six children, Rosyta, Louis, Isidore, Michael, Michel and Walkie Colvert. She is also survived by her seven siblings, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louise’s life embodied the joy of the Christian life. She was a woman of deep faith who sang the beloved hymns to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a mother who lived her life to bring glory to her Maker and her King. She was also a sacrificial and beloved mother who put her confidence in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In both her professional and personal life, Louise saw the total depravity of the human race and their needs for a Savior. She was a beacon of generosity and it was immediately apparent that she loved her children and trusted God as theirs and her provider.
She was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Limbe, Haiti. Once she relocated to the United States, she became lifetime member of the Jerusalem French Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Miami, FL.
She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a mother to many. For all of this and more that you gave to this world: Thank you, Louise Colvert!
